Founded as Knibb, Gormezano and Partners in 1988.

Based in Derby, UK, KGP has worked with 100s of customers worldwide, focussed on powertrain and related environmental technologies for Commercial Powertrains – Truck, Bus, AG, Construction, Materials Handling and other industrial applications.

Our core Global Commercial Vehicle Powertrain Forecast is a collaboration with LMC Automotive, launched in 2005, and the Non-Road Powertrain Forecast is a collaboration with Off Highway Research launched in 2009.. Both forecasts build on the joint expertise of our respective global resources.

Partners

KGP partners with LMC Automotive and Off-Highway Research to provide powertrain forecasts for both the Commercial Vehicle and Non Road Mobile Machinery Markets. We also work with other partners to provide a flexible expert resources to clients.

History

KGP was founded in 1988 as a specialist management and technology consultancy focused on automotive segments.

This focus continues today, assisting stakeholders throughout the industry through the challenges of emissions and decarbonisation

Future

KGP’s focus on its core segments continues, working with partners to bring the best intelligence available to our collect client base. Where sensible however we are working on adjacent segments, adding Marine and Power Get (Gensets) to our portfolio.

Understanding energy markets, raw materials, infrastructure trends is critical in understanding how decarbonisation can be achieved in our forecasts.
